  • If you have a hosting account already, I need the username and password.
  • If you already have a WordPress website, I need the username and password.
  • If you do not have hosting for your future WordPress website, I recommend Siteground or GoDaddy. However, you are definitely free to choose another hosting company. There are many to choose from.
  • Website security on your website is important! Your host may offer it. There are also company’s like Sucuri , https://sucuri.net, and Sitelock, https://www.sitelock.com.

If you have one, I need you to send it to me. (PDF, EPS or high res JPEG if possible)

2. PAGE TITLES

Tell me the pages that you want. For example –> Home, About, Services, Contact, Blog, Specializations, etc.

3. PHOTOS

This should also include your own professional picture, if you want.   Here are a few places to find images that give you permission to use on your website.  For example (free) www.pexels.com or http://thestocks.im and (paid) www.shutterstock.com

** It’s best to save the license that comes with these images, to show proof that you have permission to use them.

4. WRITTEN CONTENT

If you are not hiring me to write your website content, please provide all information you would like me to put on your website pages.

5. COLOR SCHEME YOU WANT

If you are not sure of the color(s) you want for your website, look here https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp

6. WEBSITE THAT YOU LIKE

Share 2 or 3 websites that portray the style you like and want used as inspiration for the type of website you would like to have for your own business. You may have seen something on the internet or may look at websites on the template page, Portfolio Designs.

2. Preparing for Launch

After all final revisions are completed, your site will be ready to go live!  You will receive the final payment invoice from me and after I receive that invoice, your site will be live within 24-48 hours.  PLEASE SAVE ALL LOGIN INFORMATION FOR YOUR RECORDS.

Upon completion, you’ll receive a link a website care document that is also here on the website –> “after website goes live”.  It outlines tips on marketing your new website and also information on maintenance and security.
